Join Your Creation Station and the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware on March 11, 2016 for an evening of paint, fun and friends. We will paint the “You Hold The Key” design on a 16″ x 20″ stretched canvas. This will be the first time we are painting this design and we’re sure its bound to become a popular one!
Your Creation Station and the DSA have a long history of collaboration dating back to the first Days of Summer Camp in 2012 and continues to this day. Walk through the door of our studio when this group comes to create and the atmosphere of love, happiness and enthusiasm is infectious and overwhelming! The design chosen for this fundraiser, You Hold The Key, embodies the attitude and outlook of each and every person we’ve come to know through this dedicated organization and its membership.
When, Where and HowThe fundraiser starts at 6:30 PM at Your Creation Station on Friday, March 11, 2016. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the event but seating is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged! We expect this event will sell out. The fundraiser costs $40 per canvas with a significant portion of the proceeds going directly to the DSA. All materials are included and you’ll leave with your finished masterpiece that evening. You can register online, via our website, using our secure registration process, through our Facebook page or by calling our studio during business hours.
What To Expect
Expect a good time. The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware will provide light snacks and soft refreshments but painters are welcome to bring other beverages of their own choosing. Dress comfortably but don’t wear your Sunday best, we are painting with acrylics and they don’t come out of cloths the way our ceramic paints do. Plan on spending an unhurried 2 to 3 hours painting under the tutelage of one of our finest instructors. Remember, our focus is helping you succeed and no prior artistic training is required. You’re more creative than you think, we know it even if you don’t.
