During our Fused Glass Wind Chime Workshop, we’ll take you through the steps needed to build a beautiful fused glass mirror frame.   Our resident fused glass artist Tracy will be on hand to guide you through the process of fusing glass from start to finish.

During the workshop, we’ll provide you with the tools, materials and expertise you’ll need to complete the project.   You can expect to finish designing your wind chime and getting it ready to be fired that day.   After the workshop, our staff will fire your pieces and have them ready to pick up later in the week.

We don’t have a set time limit for the class however, you can expect to spend an unhurried 1 to 2 hours constructing your fused glass art.   Dress comfortably.   We’re not be working with any dyes or paints to stain clothes but we will be working with broken pieces of glass and water based glue.   Safety glasses are provided and their use is strongly recommended.

We recommend this workshop for anyone 6 years or older.   If your comfortable with your younger child working with this medium, either with you or on their own, we are too. This project is appropriate for all skill levels and is a great project to start with, especially if you’ve been wanting to try.
